JVEF Annual Conference 2009

The Joint Venture Education Forum (JVEF) really IS a helping hand for Hawaii Public Schools. It’s just amazing to see the military, people from the education sector and the community collectively working together to improve public schools and bring quality education to students in Hawaii schools. JVEF does a number of things for Hawaii Public Schools – from school facility, textbook purchase and equipment upgrades; to faculty development; to providing information about Hawaii schools – print or online. The latter is specifically directed to improving the misconceptions about the Hawaii school system – which really is unique.

Recently, JVEF held its Annual Convention on August 27, 2009 at the Hawaii Okinawa Center in Waipio.
